Sail Indonesia 2014, Exploring Beauty of Indonesian Archipelago

Sail Indonesia 2014 is the annual grand event to explore the beautiful of the Indonesian archipelago. The main event of Sail Indonesian will be held at the island of Bintan, Riau Islands province, as a stopping-off point yacht sailors. If last year was held in the Sail Indonesia Lagoi tourist area, this year's event will be held at Sei Enam. Bintan regency government makes Sei Enam as the berths ships. The location was chosen with consideration for the local community to develop and introduce overall area in Bintan that is no less beautiful than others.
Sail Indonesia 2014 participants from various countries around the world including Australia, Europe, America, as well as other neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Singapore. The event is held to promote the beauty of the Indonesian sea, especially in the area of ​​Bintan, Riau. The event is expected to give a very positive impact for the future growth of tourism in Bintan.
  A total of 50 participants yacht Sail Indonesia 2014 is estimated to arrive in Bintan on October 23rd, 2014. These participants will then be taken around the island of Bintan until October 26th, 2014. From Sei Enam, participants moved on to Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
When arriving at Bintan, the participants of Sail Indonesia 2014 will be greeted by ceremonies and attendance Bintan Regent, Ansar H Rahmat. As welcome to the participants, there will also be held traditional dances and traditional martial arts performances.

During their stay in Bintan Island, sea explorers will be invited to tour to Antelope Markets, and the Relief Historical Monument Mining Bauxite, zoos, and others. They also will welcome to see the unique cultural traditions in Bintan through braid horse, kuda lumping (traditional dances using horse), jazz performances, and enjoy the gala dinner along Regent Bintan.
Bintan is the last stop adventure sailing Sail Indonesia 2014 departing from Darwin, Australia, in late July. This year the participants navigate the Kupang-Kalabahi / Alor-Wanci-Ereke-Buton-Baubau-Fortress / Takabonerate-Medana Bay (Lombok) -Lovina (Bali) -Kumai-manggar-Tanjung Kelayang (Belitung) -Bangka Sei Enam. There are also those who follow a different route with the path of Saumlaki to the Banda Islands, then join with others in Takabonerate.
Bintan is the largest island in the Riau Islands, as compared to 3 thousand large and the other small islands around it which spread from the Strait of Malacca to the South China Sea. Bintan offers an interesting historical attractions in Tanjung Pinang and Penyengat Island, also offers opportunities for surfing and ecotourism tours for school students and families.
