homeland. Countries that became the largest export destination of Indonesian
batik is the United States, Germany and South Korea.
Indonesian Batik has successfully got a wide
market abroad. However, as traditional knowledge, Indonesian batik needs to get
extra protection. There is also an element of copyright and industrial designs
that must be protected so as not to harm the Indonesian batik artists. It is
important to ensure the excellence of industry and commerce in batik area.
