is also amazing. Indonesian Green Canyon has originally named Cukang Taneuh. Name
‘Taneuh’ refers to Soil Bridge. This place is constructed by valleys, ravine,
and of course canyon. However, a France who visited Cukang Taneuh in 1993 then
popularizing this place as Green Canyon. You can find this Indonesian Green
Canyon in the Kertayasa Village, Ciamis Region, West Java. From the town, Green
Canyon is about 130 km distance and from Pangandaran beach is about 31 km
distance. Around the Green Canyon you can also find tourist area Batukaras and
Flying Field Nusawiru.

The beautiful Green Canyon is coming
from Cijulang River. The river water from Cijulang flowing away soaks through to
the cave that full of stalactite and stalagmite. Around the riverside, there
are many thick of forest and bold rock. These are best combination to create
perfect landscape that very challenging. The traveler may take departure from
the Cisaeruh Ghats by motorboat or rowboat to go through the river along 3 km.
Even along the journey to go Green Canyon, you
will be served by beautiful scenery. Along the river, you can find the water

river water that inspiring the name of Green Canyon. The Green Canyon entrance

the fresh water by swimming or creeping to the rock in riverside. Along the
riverbank are full of amazing cavernous, and cascade. In the river mouth, there

You can also diving in the Green
Canyon to enjoy the beautiful under water and fishes. Body rafting is also
popular in the Green Canyon. About 3 to 4 hours, you will be challenged to go
along the multiple kind of river water from the calm one to the most extreme flow
that usually called by the devil canyon. Even though, this area is definitely
safe, including to the 6 years old child.
However, to enjoy this Green Canyon,
you better get here in along the dry season. Because in the rainy season, the
water flow will be too much and it will be harder to go through.
