Society of Great
Britain was rocked by uncertainty. They must have felt worried and curious
about the possibility of a referendum that they will get on the 18th September
2014. It was the day in Scottish independence referendum against England will
be held. The referendum election voting contains about agree or not on the
separation of Scotland with England. Scottish separation issues with the
kingdom of Great Britain have attracted worldwide attention. It's been 307

satisfied with this. They want to bring the future of Scotland in their own

The influences
of this referendum are felt in economic terms. Scotland national economic
conditions, the UK, and even the global economy experiencing anxiety. Problems
in the British empire was able to affect global economic conditions. This is
because many international business activities related to English.
Therefore,
there are many who deplore the occurrence of this referendum. Not a few parties
who want the separation issue are not to appear. The business community,
especially the most Scots reject this referendum. More than 100 business
leaders in the UK that operates in Scotland made a petition to oppose the
state's plan to liberate themselves. Several of the business leaders who want
to assess the steps of Scotland split from the UK has a great risk to the
economic well-being. Not just the UK that will be harmed. Scotland also
potentially suffer economic losses due to economic and political stability are
disrupted. Business activities primarily conducted internationally can be very
disturbed. Investment will also be difficult to develop.
The
possibility of the referendum results are still difficult to predict. Several
surveys conducted private parties bring different numbers thin on both possible
outcomes. ICM Research conducted a survey, the results showed 54-46. The data
mentioned 54% predicted Scots want to break away from Britain. But the
different results shown from a survey conducted by Opinion Research. The
results of their survey showed 53% of the Scottish population is predicted to
still want to hang themselves with the British, and 47% said the opposite. This
condition raises the confusion for both parties.
Aside from
the loss that may be incurred, there is the issue that says that the Scots had
their own economic reasons of this goal. Scotland possibility of saving
billions of barrels of natural gas and crude oil in large quantities. This
provides a strong rationale for the country to be split with Britain. Studies
conducted by the British Geological Survey on Monday (30/6) reveal the central
region of Scotland which stretches from Glasgow and Edinburgh potentially
contain 80.3 trillion, natural gas and 6 billion barrels of crude oil.
