Toba Lake Festival 2014, September, 17 - 21, 2014

Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 17^th, 2014 Indonesia will hold an event in the beautiful region of Lake Toba that is organized in Balige, Toba Samosir, North Sumatra, Indonesia, on 17 September till 21 September 2014.

This lively festival will be opened with a parade of pedicab decorated with traditional Batak house. There are at least 15 pedicab were decorated miniature typical traditional house of Batak. They will convoy carrying a group from the opening ceremony at the museum TB Center Singamangaraja heading to the field. Guests and organizers will ride a pedicab to the location of the exhibition, which was centered on the creative economy Singamangaraja field. This field is located in the center of the city as the capital Balige Toba Samosir.

FDT 2014 is a Festival of Lake Toba second year. Previously, the festival known as Lake Toba Party. The festival that is held from 17^th to 21^st September, will feature a variety of cultural attractions which is packaged in a competition. The competition will enliven the party of the people, of whom tortor dance performances, Lake Toba World Drum Festival, the race solu Bolon (a type of large boat / dragon boat) and exhibition tourism and creative economy. In addition, there will be a number of local cultural attractions such as Monsak Batak (sports martial arts) and a variety of games people used to play to participate contested.
